Last weeks assignment was landscapes, so i went to this really cool beach and decided it was the perfect place to sled without any snow.

Color

Recently we were assigned portraits as our project for photo 101, I took some self portraits and noticed that what I'm wearing is color coordinated to my surroundings.  I guess I Unconsciously coordinate my colors a lot because looking back at most of the pictures i take, they all have similar color schemes.  A student also pointed out that I take pictures like they way I dress and he was right! I usually dress very colorful and match fairly well and in my photos color plays a important role in most of them.

Reaction Paper About a week or 2 ago my photography class visited a photographer’s studio.   The photographer we visited is Jim Lennon (lol no to be confused with john lennon).   He is a local photographer on long island and mostly works with corporate clients.   His studio is kind of small and he only has 1 employee, his wife.   He has 2 Hasselblad cameras and a variety of lights.   H also has a mock kitchen set up for food/kitchen based clients.               I learned a lot during this visit.   I learned how expensive and difficult it is to run your own studio.   I also learned how much training and year of experience you need to have to make it actually happen.   There is so much more that goes into running your own studio, way more than I imagined.   After visiting his studio and hearing speak I am definitely discouraged.   It is way too complicated, expensive an...
