Reaction Paper 2
Today in class I saw some of professor keener's work. It was very cool to see his transition from photojournalism to fine art photography. It also made me realize all the possible careers and paths photography can take you down. I really liked some of his fine art work, especially the playground zero photos, I though they looked really cool. It was also cool to see a different side of a professor. We got a glimpse of his past and what he has been through. We kind of got a sense of who he is and how he as changed through life just by looking at his work from over the years, which is cool to see.
I also learned that a career in photography can last a lifetime. He has been taking pictures for like 40 years and does not seem to be slowing down. Thats what is cool about photography, you never really retire until you die. You can pretty much always take pictures either professionally or not.
Sidenote: I did not know what picture to post for this so I decided to just use a picture of the moon that I took today.
Nice thoughts...
